Who can use OUT4BIZ.ca?
Anyone can join as a buyer (someone requesting services) or an expert (someone offering services). We welcome all genders, orientations, and professions.
Buyers (Clients)
How do I know if an expert accepts barter?
Listings that support barter will indicate “Barter Accepted” in the transaction type. You can also filter for Barter Only experts in search.
Do I pay directly on the website?
Currently, transactions are handled off-platform. Once you connect with an expert, you can negotiate pricing, timing, and payment method privately.
Can I leave a review?
Yes! After your service is completed, you can leave a review directly on the expert’s profile.
Experts (Vendors)
What should I include in my Barter Details?
If you’re open to trades, describe what kinds of goods/services you're willing to accept (e.g., “Web design in exchange for legal consulting” or “Barter for photography, accounting, or event space”).
Can I charge AND barter?
Yes! You can select Both under “Transaction Type” and explain your preferences in the “Barter Details” field.
How do I manage requests?
You'll get an email or dashboard notification when someone contacts you. You can communicate, quote, and schedule the service via your OUT4BIZ.ca account or directly.
Barter-Specific Questions
Can I barter partial payment?
Yes. You can negotiate to combine partial cash + partial barter, depending on your preferences and the client’s offer.

Can I edit or delete my listing?
Yes. From your dashboard, go to My Listings, then choose Edit or Delete.
Is there a mobile app?
OUT4BIZ.ca is fully mobile responsive, so you can use it on your phone or tablet. An app may be launched in the future.
